It connects to something I teach in my Manager Essentials Workshops - patterns are hard to see because they take time (and a little emotional distance) to surface. So I keep what I call a “sanity doc” - literally a private Google Sheet with two columns: Date and Notes. That’s it.
It gets the thoughts out of my head (sanity) and, over time, the pattern reveals itself (more sanity).
